A free-lance photographer (Marshall Thompson) woos a doctor (Gaby Andre) trying to stop a cattle epidemic in Tanganyika. A roving reporter flies to Tanganyika to cover the efforts of a UN Medical Research Team sent to isolate a cattle-killing virus. Surrounded by shadows of silent death and mistrust, these doctors combat native hostility as well as their own emotional problems.
